March Bid Review
There are three schedule changes in March, the first
being a small schedule change on March 3rd. On March
9, we have another schedule change due to Day Light
Savings Time. On March 15, there is yet another small
schedule change. Even though some of these schedule
changes are small, new pairings need to be generated
with each change. The line average has been lowered
to approximately 77 hours. This allowed for more
cadence and the creation of 3-day trip lines.
The March bid will contain new
LOD (Language of Destination) flying to
Guadalajara.
The Company agreed with MEC President Gary
Richardson’s recommendation to add a LOD flight
attendant to this market based on feedback from
language qualified flight attendants.
Other bid information:
The much-popular
Costa Rica
long layover remains in this Bid period. March is a
big vacation month, with Spring Break lasting for the
majority of the month. Easter is the weekend of March
23. The bid contains approximately 460 Reserve line
positions.
