We are now
negotiating the most important sections that will affect members
on a day to day basis. Scheduling, Reserve, Hours of Service,
Benefits and Compensation. It is vital for both the East and
West to speak with One VOICE. Raises and contract improvements
are long over due for West flight attendants and East flight
attendants have lost their pensions, taken significant pay cuts
and had their work rules decimated during bankruptcy procedures.
We must stand united
in our fight for fair contract improvements and pay raises. We
can have the best team at the bargaining table, but absent a
unified East and West membership?.. we cannot be successful in
achieving the best of both contracts.
VOICE
members will be briefed regularly on negotiation updates,
mobilize members into action, carry the message of the
Negotiating Committee to the membership and relay the concerns
and questions of the rank and file back to the Negotiating
Committee.
Together we can make
a difference in achieving the best of both contracts.
